Our English School in Wimbledon offers a wide range of courses and programmes for adults throughout the year. We work with 6 different levels from complete beginners to advanced English language levels. We offer progress tests for all students so you can monitor your progress. If you are a long-stay student, then you will receive a personal report each month.

General English language Course:

This programme runs in the morning for 4 hours a day, Monday-Friday. This way you are free to explore in the afternoons and take part in our social programme. You will be taught by 2 different teachers a day, so you do not get used to just one native, English speaker. Initially your classes will focus primarily on grammar, reading and writing. Oral communication skills using real-life situations is a strong focus of the English course so you can survive in the real world!

Wimbledon English Language Skills also runs a Social and Activity Programme. We aim to have something for everyone that will enhance your learning of the culture and lifestyle of England as well as learning. Some examples of activities we can arrange are; visits to art galleries and museums, towns with interesting cultural and historical attractions, weekend adventures, Movie afternoons, quizzes, 10 Pin Bowling. There is plenty do at night too; student parties, traditional pub nights, dog racing, discos, karaoke, International food parties and Barbeques.
