Venezuela Spanish School is unique blend of learning Spanish and travelling adventure. The schools bases are in the beautiful and tropical Latin American Country of Venezuela. This country is on the North coast of South America, has 2.8 km’s of coastline and various islands that are located in the Caribbean Sea. The terrain is diverse ranging from high table-like mountains, complex river systems, coastlines and dense tropical forest around the Amazon basin.  In the heart of Venezuela lies the highest waterfall in the world (at 3,212 ft), Angel Falls.

The Spanish school has 2 bases: one in Merida and the other in Playa Colorada. The traditional city of Posada in Merida is located on the edge of the Andean mountains, 1, 635 ft above sea level and at the foot of one of the highest peaks in Venezuela. Posada is a safe, vibrant and student orientated city. This is evidence through 30,000 students studying there, numerous cafes, restaurants, theatres and places of cultural interest.  When not on expeditions into the jungle, visiting local tribes, trekking in the Andes, sea kayaking etc, you will learn Spanish comfortable and bright classrooms in a building just next to the main square. You will be minutes away from the Merida Teleferico;  the higest cable car in the world at 14,000 ft.

Playa Colorada is the name of the beach located within the Mochima national park. This Caribbean Paradise provides a base from which students can explore deserted offshore islands by kayak, interact with dolphins whilst snorkelling or diving and go fishing for dinner. The Venezuela Spanish school lodge is where some of your Spanish lessons will take place before expeditions into the Orinoco Delta, Gran Sabana and other exotic destinations around the country.

During your Spanish Language courses  you will explore the Venezuelan Andes, so during your free time enjoy the sights and sounds of the city, indulge in  adventure sports like hiking, horse riding, rafting and mountain biking.
