| Homestay & Residece: | This type of accommodation is available in Mirida. This 3 story building is located next to the main square and minutes away from the Merida Telifarico highest cable car in the world at 14,000ft. The accommodation has 6 comfortable student rooms where you can share with either 1 or 2 other students of your choice. The homestay is more like a family-ran hotel. The native Venezuelan family will provide meals and act as a host family for you to practice your Spanish language skills. Classrooms and recreational areas are all within the same building. The building has cable TV and a covered terrace. |
| Residence lodge: | This type of accommodation is available in Playa Colarada on the beach. The lodge is very unique and has been built in the style of a magnificent , “Chawata “ (Indian Warao commune). Students can chose from sleeping on specially designed sleeping hammocks (recommended due to the hot weather) or beds. The lodge has many communal, recreational and garden areas. A 12 meter high climbing wall is part of the complex also. This lodge acts as a base for expeditions into the heart of Venezuela’s diverse territory. |
| On the move: | If you chosse to Learn Spanish with the Travelling Classroom programme, sleeping arrangements will be wide-ranging and varied. Hammocks, small camps, tents and beds will be utilized where appropriate. It is the perfect way to get to know nature and your fellow students. |
