Our U.S.A English High School is located is at the scenic High Sierra at Lake Tahoe for grades 8-12 (13-18 years). Our Lake Tahoe School offers a strong focus in preparing students for college and offering many outdoor sports and activities which boost a students’ sense of growth and personal accomplishment.

Lake Tahoe English Language High School is an international boarding school running full English immersion classes with American students as well as all the other curricular lessons.  This school was founded in 1978 and has a fantastic reputation for providing students with a complete educational programme satisfying all their educational, social, emotional and physical needs. Because our school has small classes of 8-12 we are able to give the appropriate amount of attention to each individual student. In addition to the strong English classes, the English Language High School run two-hour evening study halls, and weekend activities.

This English High School is particularly recommended by Passport Language as it can effectively teach essential skills such as math, science, and humanities outside the traditional classroom setting. All students participate in Outdoor Education and when a student maintains their grade they may ski or snowboard every day (during the Winter Season) at the 32-ski-lift home of the 1960 Olympics!

On the weekend, students enjoy mountain sports and activities, supervised by our Lake Tahoes school staff. These include: Mountain biking, hiking, river rafting, skateboarding, Soccer, ultimate Frisbee, movies, amusement parks, and museums!
