Nine-Month Boarding Student Tuition includes tuition, room, board, meals, and ESL.
Student Accounts are initially funded at $4,000 in addition to tuition stated above. The student account covers the Squaw Valley USA ski pass, two weeklong Outdoor Education Trips or Excursions, local transportation, drug testing, field trips, weekend activities, laboratory fees, technology fees, music and art fees, and other minor school-related activities. Student Account statements are mailed or are sent by email, quarterly to parents.
Boarding Student Damage Deposit of $525 is a separate account that parents provide. This account covers anything beyond normal wear-and-tear of school property.
USA Season Ski Pass: varies from Mid-Week to Full Pass Weeklong Outdoor Education Trips: $450-$800 depending on destination Weekend Activities: $15 for a movie trip and $150 for a one-day trip to a theme park Drug Testing: $15 in-house, $50 to off-site lab Classroom Lab Fees: from $50 to $100; AP classes can be higher Transportation: from $30 for a doctor in-town to $100 to the Reno Tahoe International Airport Sports: $150 soccer uniform, equipment rentals, kayaks, climbing gear, snowshoes, extra ski lessons, etc. College Applications: normally $50-55 each application Purchase of major sports equipment normally is handled by the family, but, upon request, the school will assist the student with the purchase and bill the student account or family credit card. Personal travel to and from school and home is arranged and paid for by the family.

Application :
Lake Tohoe English Language High School requires the following items before a student can be accepted on to the course:
- A Completed International Student Application Form
- $100 non-refundable application fee
- One page hand-written essay in English
- Recommendation letter from a teacher or school official
- Transcript of grades in native language AND in English
- A copy of a bank statement showing family has sufficient funds to pay tuition and fees
- We not require TOEFL or SLEP tests
Parents purchase textbooks and uniforms separately.
