Sicily Italian School has come up with the perfect combination where you can learn not only the Italian Language, but also improve your cooking (and tasting) skills in the kitchen. The Italian course ‘plus’ Sicilian cooking programme means that you will learn the Italian language in the morning and learn all about how to prepare and eat delicious Sicilian food in the evening. This unique course will introduce you to some of the flavors and influences of traditional food. The Greeks, Arabs, Romans and Spaniards have all inspired this part of the world resulting in the mouth-watering dishes including colorful vegetables from the Sicilian soil, Arabic aromatic spices, Spanish broque and much move. Why not cook-up a storm on the Island of Sicily and add some flavor to your stay with the Italian language ‘plus’ Sicilian Cooking programme.

There are two options for this course; Casaliongua Siclian Cooking Class and Sicilian Wine, Oil and Cheeses

The Casalionga cooking class is a real traditional treat as you get to learn from the best in the best location. You will learn how to prepare a 3 course meal with a pasta, risotto or soup for starter. The 2^nd course suits all as there is an option of fish, meat or vegetarian and a side dish (normally a salad or vegetables) and then one sweet or cake sometime during the week. The course runs 3 days /week for 3 1/2 hours perday. If you have elementary level Italian then you are eligible for this course.

Sicilian Wine, oil and cheeses programme gives you the opportunity to learn about (and taste!) the great mix of Sicilain wines, oils and cheese. The Italian language ‘plus’ Sicilian Wine, oil and cheeses course explains about the origin, production and recipes of the area. The course runs for 3 days/week for 1 ½ hours/day. If you have at least elementary level Spanish you can combine your language course with this special ‘plus’ programme.
