Paris French School has designed a unique course dedicated to the history of art. Have you always wanted to be able to identify major periods, styles, movements and artists? Maybe you already have a great interest in art movements and wish to know more relating to French artists in particular. Maybe you want to be able to relate intermediate language acquisition skills to something you are passionate about. Why not immerse yourself in the French Language and French history by taking French lessons ‘plus’ Art history. Taking French combined with Art history allows students to have background information necessary to situate works in their historical context. Starting from the middles ages, the course covers all major art movements until the 20^th century.

An intermediate level of French is recommended to enjoy this programme. This level of French is normally achieved after 10 weeks of studying.
