Fukuoka Japanese School has a range of accommodation options to suit all types of students with varying lifestyles and preferences. Passport Language recommends that you consider carefully the lifestyle you wish to lead during your stay in Fukuoka and chose the accommodation type you know will best optimise your learning of the Japanese Language. The options are as follows:

Homestay:	This type of accommodation is a great way to immerse yourself in the Japanese way of life and learn outside of the classroom. Your host family will make you feel very welcome as you will have your own room, access to the internet and will take into account any dietary requirements you may have. All homestays are located as close to the school as possible.
School Residences:	This type of accommodation gives you a private room in a dormitory with other Fukuoka Japanese School students so is a sociable option and allows you more independence. There are 4 locations of dormitories you an chose from depending on their availability: Tomo (quiet, popular, chance to interact with Japanese students), Cool Reve (no curfew, laundry, kitchen), Nishijin (very central, spacious rooms with kitchen), Wings Muromi (quiet area, no curfew, laundry, kitchen).
Shared Apartments:	This type of accommodation allows you a good level of privacy and freedom. You will have your own private room in  Japanese person's apartment but everything is completely self-contained. You will have a lot of independence here as the Japanese owner may not be in a lot. All apartments are close to the city centre and some have internet access.
