England High School English Courses
All year round courses:
Our School runs courses for all ages of young students from 12-17 years. The courses run from September to June from beginner to advanced English language level. These English language lessons are more intensive and can be more focused e.g lessons covering the English ways of life and culture are also included. Students may also be mixed in-class with students on academic courses. We monitor all our student progress through weekly teachers meetings, so moving between levels is easy and students are always in the appropriate English Class for them. This is great for young people who wish to learn all year round and outside of the holiday period.
Vacation/Holiday courses:
Our English High School has had vast amounts of experience running all-inclusive Easter and summer vacation packages. Since, 1969 our English High School has offered students from all over the world the chance to learn English, take part in sport, social activities and learn about England’s cultural heritage all within the same residential building. Malvern is one of the safest locations in the country.
We run courses for Teens (12-17) and Children (8-11) and the students can start these courses at the beginning of any week within the course dates. Our carefully selected teachers have EFL qualifications, meaning that the English courses are of a very high quality. We also have energetic social activity and sports staff who lead and supervise activities every week.
The vacation/Holiday courses are packed with learning and fun! Students have something to do from the moment they wake up until they go to bed!
All Abbey College teachers are familiar with the most up-to-date teaching methods, are qualified and passionate about the English language. Students will take a placement test on their first day so the exact level of each student can be determined so they are allocated to the correct class to suit their needs.
The English Language classes for younger students focus on all aspects of the English language including reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Because of the mixture of nationalities studying at the school the language spoken outside of the classroom is predominately English.
Once the programme is completed student receive a Certificate of Attendance and a teacher's report.
