Montanita Spanish School has various types of accommodation exclusively for the students studying Spanish there. Passport Languages considers the schools accommodation to be extraordinary in its efforts to be ecologically friendly with the building of their Eco-cabanas. Most of the building materials are ecologically sound.  All water is recycled to water the plants and flowers in garden, rain water is collected to be recycled for the swimming pool and Jacuzzi system and the outside lights are solar powered. Located just minutes outside of town, the accommodation is peaceful and luxurious.

Homestay:	Your Ecuadorian host family will give you the opportunity to be fully immersed in Ecuadorian culture and traditional lifestyle. You will be located in the local Village and it is quite poor so won’t have the conveniences you will be used to. It is full immersion in Ecuadorian life. There will be flush toilet and your bed. You will be roomed by yourself (unless you are a couple). The families are very friendly, however, the facilities are basic by western standard. The families all enjoy chatting with you (they are used to people not speaking much Spanish!) to find out about your home, family, what you like etc. These chats normally after dinner are a highlight for many students, and the perfect way to practice the Spanish you have learnt.
Cabanas:	This style of accommodation is large and extremely attractive. Once you have stayed in the cabanas, you will not want to stay anywhere else. Full ensuite (private bathroom) facilities are included. You can chose from single or double occupancy, and therefore perfect for those solo, couples or when with a friend. There is also large shared kitchen available to prepare your own food. There are 15 cabanas available.
Cabanas: (+ with kitchen):	Montanita Spanish School has 3 cabanas, a little larger than most of the others, that has been outfitted with a kitchen. Great for a couple wishing to do their own cooking in private. It is very tastefully decorated.
Shared mini-dorm:	This chose of accommodation is large, private and quiet. A maximum of only four per dorm allows you plenty of space. They are perfect for the traveler on a low budget!
