Costa Rica Spanish School encourages its students to not only study the Spanish Language but get involved in Spanish and Central American culture also. The school organises activities every week. Some are included in the price, such as cooking classes, dancing classes, fiestas, city tours, museum tours, movie nights and lectures. Other activities run on a pay-as-you basis and are well worth it. Some examples of excursions are trips to Tortuguero National Park. This park borders the Caribbean Coast and, if full of wildlife and in September to October the nesting sites of giant turtles may be witnessed as they lay their eggs.  Watarfall trips, volcano climbs, canopying, rafting, and aerial volcano tours are also offered.
